
What is important, the protagonist is constantly accompanied by a supporting character. Eliminating the enemies is facilitated by an improved combat system allowing to perform spectacular combos. One versus one fights are prevailing in the game (fighting with swords). Although combat is still a significant part of the game, enemies are fewer in quantity than in the previous installments - they are substantially more powerful now instead. They are the ones poisoning different parts of the land. In so doing, the protagonist kills guards who serve the role of bosses.

The gameplay consists largely of healing the corrupt oasis gradually in order to save the legendary Tree of Life (vide Okami, Shadow of the Colossus or The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess). The Prince has to stop him and prevent his disease from spreading out. He escapes and rebuilds the corrupt world in the magical oasis. They are losing their hope, and Ahriman decides to use it to his advantage. Prince Of Persia is easy to get into, but because it's been around for a few years it will run perfectly well on any configuration of machine (even in Hercules!).When two generations pass, the people of Ahura are beginning to die out.


Better still, just when you think you have things sussed, the gameplay throws up a puzzle so devious or a dramatic moment so startling that you immediately fall in love with it all over again. One of POP's greatest achievements is that you're never quite if you can actually pull something off until you've given it a try - which results in quite a few moments which can literally be described as cliffhangers. He then digitised the footage and use the results as a basis for the animation of game's main characters - to such a successful degree that you eventually believe that you can make the tiny pixellated hero do just about anything that you ask of him.
